Adam Kropinski: Furniture Maker

Adam Kropinski graduated from Queen’s University with a
degree in mechanical engineering in 1992. Through out his engineering career,
he developed a strong passion for woodworking. A self taught woodworker, he
refined his skills while attending Rosewood Studio where he studied with teed
Brown, Ron Barter Garrett Hack and Michael Fortune. In 2004, Adam made the
transition from part time woodworker to professional furniture maker. He now
runs a small studio in Kingston Ontario building pieces for clients from Toronto
to Ottawa. He also is one of Rosewood’s resident instructors.
"For me the design is paramount. If the piece were to
be painted white, it should still be successful, creating interest. Now add some
of the best materials available and you get something truly special."
