A Busy Spring
Posted on February 18, 2007
This spring is quickly filling up with presentations and shows.
First up is a trip to Rochester NY. I'll be conducting a workshop for the
Rochester Woodworkers Socoety (www.rochesterwoodworkers.org)
on March 10. this workshop will focus on making curved components.
Later in March, I'll be one of the featured Demonstrators at the Northeastern
Woodworkers Association (www.nwawoodworkingshow.org)
annual Showcase. I am honored to be included with such fine makers as
Garrett Hack and Beth Ireland. This event runs March 24 and 25 and
features some of the areas finest builders displaying their work.
After a brief break, I'll be once again opening my doors for the Interconnected
Art Kingston Studio Tour (www.kingstonartists.com). This show runs May 6
and 7 and is an opportunity so see some of my new pieces.
The following weekend, Rosewood Studio will be hosting its 5 year anniversary
Furniture Show on May 12. This show will feature pieces by staff and
alumni as well as artists from the area (glass, ceramics and others). This
will be a wonderful way to celebrate the milestone of the schools history.
Details will be posted at
www.rosewoodstudio.com.
